About The Position

The Mission of The Hills Church is to make and grow followers of Jesus. We do this by being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did. This role is for a pastor as well as a musician/vocalist who is passionate for the discipleship/spiritual formation of their worship team and congregation. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in leading worship, shepherding a worship team, and possesses excellent verbal communication skills.

Requirements

Pastor as well as a musician/vocalist (This does not mean ordained.)
Passionate for the discipleship/spiritual formation of your worship team and congregation
Experienced (at least 4 years) in leading worship
Experienced in shepherding a worship team
Excellent in verbal communication skills
Proficiency in keys and/or acoustic guitar
Experience leading a variety of musical styles
Familiarity with the Nashville number system
Confidence in arranging
Competent in developing and building a worship team
Competent in developing and leading a diverse/multiethnic worship culture
Actively engaged in personal development and leadership growth

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and lead worship at the Weatherford Campus
Develop and shepherd relationships with worship team members
Collaborate with ministries that serve in weekend services
Coordinate weekend services with Worship Arts and especially the Production Team
Serve as a resource to the Student Worship Band
Lead worship for events such as conferences and Christmas Eve services
Serve in an all-campus Worship Minister team led by The Hills Lead Worship Minister
Execute campus-wide vision given by the Weatherford Campus Pastor
Minister to and shepherd the body of Christ that meets at the Weatherford campus
Serve people through general ministerial responsibilities
