APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Ensure operational and financial success for the organization. Develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end product demand and supply plans across all channels of distribution in over 80 countries for a current or future product line. Make product line assignments at the time of hire in any of Apple's multi-billion-dollar businesses, including Mac, Watch, iPad, iPhone and Accessories. Serve as a member of the Supply Demand Management team, a highly influential group within Apple, challenged to scale at the pace of the company's overall growth. Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through. Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives and evaluate risks. Analyze product sales on a daily basis. Find opportunities and drive partner groups to appropriate action. Coordinate closely with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements. Coordinate with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities of new product introductions and to ensure smooth product transitions. Partner with the global procurement teams to allocate constrained components, ensure raw material inventory targets are met, and minimize material obsolescence during product transition. Present product updates and recommended actions to Operations executive management team on a weekly basis. Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process, marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering (any), or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with performing advanced modeling utilizing Excel for demand forecasting.
  • 3 years of experience with analyzing large data sets for operations, assessing results, and planning for future requirements.
  • 3 years of experience with developing, presenting and implementing plans for strategic resources using Excel and Keynote (or Power Point) to optimize customer satisfaction while also considering financial goals and minimizing operational complexity.
  • 3 years of experience with performing scenario analysis using Excel, analyzing expected outcomes of different business decisions and recommending actions to minimize business losses.
  • 3 years of experience with presenting business risks and opportunities, as well as recommended solutions to managers and executives.
  • 3 years of experience with coordinating with multiple internal groups and teams to manage business operations and collaborate on decision making.
  • 3 years of experience with managing products or devising new processes to improve business planning operations.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Excel and Tableau modeling to analyze backorder data, seasonality, year-on-year curve modeling.
  • New product Introduction (NPI) cross functional engagement with stakeholders.
  • Engaging in stakeholder collaboration on business plan execution.
