About The Position

Amazon Connect is a rapidly growing service within AWS and a leader in the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) space. This AI-powered cloud contact center offers rapid innovation, enabling companies to deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences at a lower cost. The Connect Sales Specialist will be a seasoned Enterprise Salesperson responsible for positioning Amazon Connect's impact drivers to both technical and business stakeholders. This offering addresses customer pain points and aims to provide superior customer service, offering a compelling alternative to complex, multi-vendor solutions with long-term commitments and intricate pricing models. The ideal candidate will have enterprise sales experience in related fields (customer experience management, contact center), be a self-starter, and capable of operating both tactically and strategically. As a key member of this fast-growing team, sellers have the opportunity to influence the future of a service category that significantly impacts customer businesses.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of contact center, or 1+ years of work in the customer service/contact center industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue in a defined territory with multiple account teams and partners.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by helping AWS sellers navigate sales cycles and accelerate implementations by working with cross-functional teams to originate and close opportunities that drive Amazon Connect revenue.
  • Build deep relationships with customers to fully understand their business, solutions, and technical needs.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan supporting multiple account teams to drive achievement of revenue and win goals.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions that address specific needs of your customers.
  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of Amazon Connect revenue in your territory.
  • Drive business development initiatives in your territory in partnership with Go To Market Strategy team and Partner Development resources to help expand market penetration for Amazon Connect.
  • Prepare and give business reviews to AWS senior management teams.
