About The Position
This is a work-study position assisting with the Men's Basketball team's practice and game operations. Responsibilities include running the clock, assisting with rebounding and workouts, supporting staff with meals, and helping with film breakdown. Additional projects may be assigned by assistant coaches and support staff.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of men's basketball
- Have strong character in our 3 program pillars – Attitude, Commitment, Class
- Be able to rebound and pass for workout and/or drills
- Strong time management skills between academia and extracurricular campus involvement
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of data systems and be able to help with coding film (skill can be trained and taught)
Responsibilities
- Assist with practice and game operations
- Run the clock system during practices
- Assist with rebounding and workouts
- Assist alongside Men's Basketball staff in post game and pregame meals
- Assist with breakdown of film from practice, games, and scouting reports
- Additional projects as assigned from assistant coaches and support staff
