About The Position

Worldwide Oilfield Machine (WOM) is a premium flow control and pressure containment systems manufacturer. WOM leverages its four decades-strong design, engineering, and manufacturing expertise with an agile, solutions-driven approach to answer challenging equipment needs. This role is for the Northwest Houston location on Tanner Rd.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years' experience Hydro and Gas Testing
  • 1-2 years' experience assembly.
  • Subsea testing experience (SIT/FAT) with control systems.
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting and panel-building experience.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, assembly and testing work on WOM’s and third-party equipment in accordance with WOM’s quality management system.
  • Prepare and maintain associated documentation in accordance with WOM’s quality management system.
  • Identify potential hazards and monitor the condition of hand tools and machinery, communication any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Know and understand Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the QMS.
  • Comply with all health and safety rules.
  • Verify components against Bill of Materials
  • Check components for damage or obvious defects.
  • Complete sub-assemblies and final assemblies for testing and/or inspection.
  • Reads and comprehends basic drawings, specifications and procedures.
  • Operate hydraulic power units.
  • Operate general hand, hydraulic and air tools.
  • Rigs/de-rigs equipment for movement with cranes, forklifts and winches and able to drive company vehicle (truck).
  • Differentiates between various hydraulic and pneumatic fittings.
  • Diagnoses malfunctions and provides technical feedback to Engineering and/or supervisor.
  • Quality checks tools to ensure proper assembly, design, and functionality are being maintained.
  • Perform documentation as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Flexible with work schedule as and when required to work extra hours or weekend/holidays.
  • Perform pressure, functional testing and FAT / SIT etc., of equipment.
  • Maintains test equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, gages, hoses and other related equipment.
  • Use chart recorders when directed by router.
  • Use measurements, test equipment and functional gages to determine if product meets all stated requirements.
  • Verify gage calibration and operates test equipment.
  • Monitor controls and instruments, record accurate test data, and prepare test reports.
