About The Position

Reporting to the department supervisor, the shop technician plays a versatile role in supporting the department’s daily operations. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime.
Your day will look like this:
Process returns and prepare the department's cabling according to purchase orders;
Load and unload delivery trucks;
Place equipment in the appropriate locations (return and shipping bays, sorting areas, logistics hub) with applicable safety guidelines;
Ensure that all necessary accessories for the operation of the equipment are provided;
Clean and perform a visual inspection on all equipment;
Follow the quality and preparation standards of the company and/or industry;
All other duties related to the position.

Requirements

• AEC or DEC in a relevant audiovisual field (an asset)
• Experience in an audiovisual equipment workshop or on events or warehouse
• Able to lift heavy loads
• Show flexibility in his working schedule
• Valid forklift driver’s license (an asset)
• Master basic French, both oral and written (an asset)
• Highly developed organizational skills and meticulousness
• Positive attitude
• Autonomous
• Team-work oriented and cooperation spirit
• Show flexibility towards flextime schedules
• Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt to changing
