Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
2-3 years industry experience in relevant field.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in a team environment
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
Self-motivated, self-starter.
Must be able to follow instructions.
Able to work closely with fellow employees.
Valid forklift certification
Valid overhead crane certification

Responsibilities

Complete all safety training, training plan and competency standards as set out in the position within company guidelines.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies.
Attend classroom instructional sessions aimed at product line specific training.
Assist workshop personnel in the preparation of jobs (which may include; inventory, tool measurement, documentation, equipment load-out, etc…)
Assist in the tool preparation and testing.
Have a general knowledge of the Liner Hanger Systems and Completion products and services including having the ability to correctly identify all tools and components.
Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.
Assist in the shop and make deliveries when available.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Prepare and keep accurate paperwork on delivery tickets, job reports, time sheets and other similar administrative forms.
Keep accurate paperwork of equipment used and services provided in the field.
Must understand of NOV quality policies and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace instructions.
Work in compliance with (ISO/ API / SCC).
Report status of on-going activities daily to the Workshop Supervisor.
Participate in actions which promote a safety and quality culture within NOV.
Required to be available on a 24-hour call basis as needed.
Show willingness and flexibility to perform other tasks as instructed by the Workshop Supervisor.
Report any unsafe activities or injuries to HSE Manager immediately and also immediate manager.
Be aware of your responsibilities, accountabilities, tasks, and goals for health, safety, and environmental protection.
