About The Position

The Workplace Violence Investigation Specialist role is responsible for investigating reports of workplace violence (WPV), including physical assaults, threats, harassment, intimidation, and other disruptive behaviors. This specialist works collaboratively with clinical leadership, legal, HR, and external law enforcement when needed, to implement corrective action plans, post-incident safety plans, and recommend prevention strategies aligned with healthcare best practices and regulatory requirements. The specialist may be asked to produce written reports of incident data and follow-up to help identify trends to help further preparedness efforts.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in investigations or workplace violence investigations.
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Healthcare Security or Law Enforcement
  • experience in healthcare or hospital setting preferred
  • experience with de-escalation or threat assessment and crisis intervention
