About The Position

The IT and AI Enablement function exists to make Legora itself run as well as the product we sell: secure, automated, and improving over time. As our Workplace Technology Specialist in New York, you'll help keep the technology our employees use every day working smoothly, from laptops and onboarding to meeting rooms and office connectivity. You'll report to Arlynn Galang, our Workplace Technology Lead, and work closely with Workplace, Office Managers, EAs, and the wider IT team. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll take ownership of everyday support requests, follow issues through to resolution, and help deliver office technology projects with Arlynn's direction. It's an opportunity to build your technical skills while making a visible difference to how our New York office runs.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of hands-on IT support, workplace technology, desktop support, or similar experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• You can troubleshoot macOS devices, common business applications, peripherals, and basic network issues. You work through problems methodically and know when to ask for help.
• You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues. You're patient, approachable, and calm when someone needs help quickly.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. You assess what’s urgent, shift focus as priorities change, and follow through on the work that matters most. You set a high bar for delivery while keeping colleagues informed along the way.
• You're comfortable following security and access procedures, handling employee information carefully, and escalating requests that need approval.
• You're curious, willing to learn, and quick to act. You notice recurring problems and suggest practical improvements.
• You enjoy being present in the office. This role is onsite in New York five days a week, helping colleagues and keeping the space working.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with meeting-room AV and conferencing tools such as Zoom Rooms or Neat.
• Familiarity with Apple Business Manager and an endpoint management platform, plus identity, access, and collaboration tools such as 1Password.
• Exposure to office networking or physical-security hardware, such as Meraki, badge readers, or Verkada.
• Experience with an ITSM platform such as Serval, Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, or Freshservice, and an interest in simple scripting or workflow automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, dependable follow-through, and a willingness to learn matter most.

Responsibilities

• Be a helpful, responsive first point of contact for employees. Troubleshoot laptop, application, account, peripheral, and connectivity issues through our shared service desk and in person. Keep people informed and escalate complex issues with clear diagnostics.
• Help new hires get productive from day one: stage devices, complete approved account and access setup, check equipment, and introduce colleagues to Legora's tools. Support offboarding and equipment returns using established processes.
• Keep meeting rooms ready to use. Run regular AV checks, troubleshoot conferencing equipment, and support all-hands, events, and important meetings alongside Arlynn and the relevant teams.
• Support the local hardware lifecycle, including provisioning, inventory, loaners, repairs, replacements, and returns. Keep asset records accurate and flag stock needs early.
• Troubleshoot basic office Wi-Fi and wired connectivity problems. Gather useful information and work with Arlynn and the IT Systems team on issues that need deeper investigation.
• Assist with office moves, desk setups, equipment installations, and vendor visits. Follow agreed checklists, test the work, and raise issues for Arlynn to resolve.
• Help maintain badge readers, cameras, and other office technology by identifying faults and coordinating fixes under established processes. Security owns access policy and monitoring.
• Write clear support guides and improve repeatable tasks. Help test practical automation and AI-assisted support workflows with the team so common issues become easier to prevent and resolve.
