The Workplace Cloud & SaaS Engineer is responsible for the deployment, administration, and automation of CoinFlip’s SaaS platforms, collaboration tools, and identity-integrated services. This role ensures our workplace systems are secure, scalable, and user-friendly, supporting internal teams across productivity, access, and day-to-day technical experience. You’ll play a key role in managing core SaaS apps, supporting identity integrations (SSO, MFA, provisioning), and automating repeatable processes across the modern workplace tech stack.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in workplace technology, SaaS engineering, or enterprise IT administration.
  • Hands-on experience with O365, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), Zoom, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with identity protocols such s SAML, SCIM, OAUth, and experience with SSO integrations.
  • Strong scripting or workflow automation knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Ability to work across teams and deliver high-quality support in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Entra or other IDaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with device management, and SaaS governance principles.
  • Knowledge of ITIL, SaaS lifecycle management, or license optimization best practices.
  • Previous exposure to regulated industries as fintech or crypto.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support workplace SaaS applications, such as O365, Atlassian, Azure, AWS, etc.
  • Monitor application health, license utilization, user access, and service configurations.
  • Participate in onboarding/offboarding processes by ensuring clean provisioning and deprovisioning across platforms.
  • Collaborate with Cloud & Workplace lead to improve employee experience through reliable and secure SaaS tooling.
  • Assist with SSO integrations, SCIM provisioning, and IAM workflows across critical SaaS apps.
  • Support enforcement of least privilege access, MA, and user entitlements in partnership with Security.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve identity-related issues across federated and managed apps.
  • Develop and maintain scripts or low-code workflows to automate common SaaS operations.
  • Assist with the design and execution of SaaS lifecycle automations (e.g., license reclaims, app access reviews, user group syncs, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities for self-service, delegation, and administrative consistency.
  • Respond to escalations related to SaaS app functionality, access issues, and service disruptions.
  • Proactively monitor SaaS health and performance; escalate outages or risk conditions.
  • Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge bases (JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint).
  • Participate in SaaS rollouts, integrations, and tool rationalization efforts.
  • Support workplace and Security teams during audits or vendor transitions (e.g., app offboarding, data migrations).
  • Assist with SaaS Management platform usage and insights to help manage spend and sprawl.
