About The Position

As the company expands, decisions about the work environment and location must become more flexible, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives. The Workplace Business Partner (WBP) acts as a strategic liaison between Workplace Strategy & Site Operations (WSSO) and Adobe's business units. This role guides the development of workforce-informed location strategies that support business growth, innovation, collaboration, and employee experience. It combines business collaboration, location strategy, and workplace expertise to ensure that workplace investments align with shifting business priorities and future ways of working. The WBP is responsible for developing strategic recommendations, fostering partner consensus, and representing business priorities in workplace planning, governance, and implementation. Execution is managed in collaboration with WSSO teams. In Adobe's technology-driven environment, this role anticipates changing business needs and identifies emerging workplace opportunities that promote organizational adaptability and long-term value creation.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of experience in workplace strategy, corporate real estate, business relationship management, consulting, or long-term business development.
  • Experience formulating workplace, portfolio, or location approaches in a complex global organization.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders and collaborators.
  • Experience crafting arguments, well-founded proposals, and analyses of return on investment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and collaborator management skills.
  • Strong understanding of workplace trends, hybrid work models, organizational build, and new technologies impacting the future of work.
  • Ability to develop creative concepts and promoting new ideas.
  • Working experience with abstract ideas and future-state planning.
  • Experience leading the approach to complex, self-directed assignments.
  • Passion for introducing innovative ideas that influence significant business decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with workplace strategy, corporate real estate, workforce planning, and portfolio management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Developing business-aligned location strategies and future-state recommendations.
  • Translating business priorities, workforce trends, and organizational changes into workplace and portfolio investment recommendations.
  • Driving collaborator alignment on strategic workplace and location decisions.
  • Establishing success criteria and targeted business results for workplace initiatives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners, and key collaborators.
  • Act as the main strategic point of contact between WSSO and designated business organizations.
  • Understand business objectives, workforce strategies, organizational changes, and growth plans to assess implications for workplace, location, and portfolio decisions.
  • Represent business objectives within WSSO and support alignment between organizational needs and workplace priorities.
  • Conduct external market analysis and benchmarking to inform workforce distribution, evaluate location opportunities, and inform investment considerations.
  • Build strategic recommendations for a workforce-informed location strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop strategic recommendations and executive presentations for leadership review and approval.
  • Sponsor and guide workplace initiatives from strategy development through implementation partnering with GSO, GWE, and GWD to ensure business objectives are represented.
  • Partner with functional experts across WSSO who own analytics, planning processes, programs, project delivery, and operations to develop aligned recommendations and drive successful outcomes.
  • Provide business intelligence, workforce planning inputs, collaborator alignment, and strategic recommendations that inform governance and approval processes, including the Global Workplace Approval Committee (GWAC).
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts associated with workplace decisions.
  • Represent designated business units in prioritizing workplace investments among competing organizational demands.
  • Lead collaborator engagement efforts related to work location strategy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Site Operation teams to communicate recommendations, rationale, and encouraged outcomes to business leaders and partners.
  • Support adoption of workplace initiatives through effective communication and change management planning.
  • Develop workforce and location strategies that correspond with business needs through close collaboration with Global Site Operations (GSO), Global Workplace Delivery (GWD) or equivalent experience, Global Workplace Experience (GWE), and HR Business Partners (HRBP).
