About The Position

This role is for a Working Student Finance at Withthegrid, a cleantech scale-up focused on intelligent and efficient management of energy infrastructure. The position involves contributing to the finance function, with approximately half of the time dedicated to financial operations (record accuracy, debtor management, invoicing inquiries, administrative improvements) and the other half to strategic and analytical tasks. The strategic portion includes working with the finance lead on KPIs, forecasting, revenue stream analysis, client value, profitability, and exposure to investor relations and growth financing. The company is seeking someone responsible, adaptable, and proactive.

Requirements

• Practical experience with finance through a relevant study, internship or hands-on work
• Proactive: you spot what needs to happen and make it happen
• A strong communicator who adjusts to whoever's in front of you
• Available 2-3 days a week, ideally for at least 6 months
• Able to be in our Utrecht office at least one of our office days each week (Monday or Wednesday), ideally both

Responsibilities

• Keeping financial records accurate
• Staying on top of debtors
• Answering customer questions on invoicing
• Finding better ways to run the administration
• Tracking KPIs
• Supporting forecasting
• Digging into revenue streams, client value and profitability
• Getting exposure to investor relations and how we finance our growth
