About The Position
Ron Hoover RV & Marine Centers is looking for a hands-on Working Shop Foreman to help lead our Odessa Service Department. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management role. We’re looking for a producing foreman who can lead technicians, keep workflow moving, assist with diagnostics and complex repairs, and actively flag labor hours alongside the team. If you lead by example, take pride in quality workmanship, and know how to balance productivity with accountability, we want to talk to you.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or Senior Technician
- Strong RV and/or Marine diagnostic and repair experience
- Ability to lead a team while remaining production-focused
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Weekend availability as business needs require
Responsibilities
- Produce and flag labor hours alongside the technician team
- Help manage daily shop workflow and technician productivity
- Dispatch and prioritize repair orders to maximize efficiency
- Assist technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and complex repairs
- Maintain quality control and reduce comebacks
- Train, mentor, and develop technicians and shop personnel
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain shop organization
- Communicate with management regarding productivity, staffing, and operational needs
- Ensure repair orders, labor tracking, and documentation are accurate and complete
