WORKING SHOP FOREMAN
About The Position
We are seeking a hands-on Working Shop Foreman to lead our service team from the front. This is not a desk job—this role requires an experienced technician who can both turn wrenches and lead by example to keep the shop running efficiently and productively. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong presence in the shop, ensure technicians stay on task, and help drive overall performance and accountability. This position plays a critical role in keeping our shop productive. We’re looking for someone who understands that a strong presence on the floor drives performance—someone who works alongside the team and ensures no time is wasted.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive technician (5+ years preferred)
- Prior leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Ability to lead by example and command respect in a fast-paced shop
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- High level of accountability and work ethic
- Ability to keep a team focused, productive, and moving
Responsibilities
- Actively perform mechanical work (diagnostics, repairs, alignments, etc.)
- Lead and supervise technicians to maintain workflow and productivity
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and correctly the first time
- Keep the shop organized, on schedule, and operating at a high level
- Monitor technician performance and address downtime or inefficiencies
- Assist with dispatching work and prioritizing jobs as needed
- Maintain a professional, team-focused environment
