About The Position

Kinsley is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Foreman/ Superintendent to join our growing Building team in North East, MD. As a General Contractor, the Foreman/ Superintendent is responsible for directing and coordinating activity associated with the construction of the project in accordance with established schedules, budgets, plans, specifications and procedures. A successful candidate will lead by example, motivate crew members and efficiently manage the job.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all aspects of building construction
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
  • Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively Lead and manage Kinsley's self-perform crews through a hands-on approach.
  • Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
  • Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
  • Plan, schedule and utilize necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
  • Receive material deliveries and maintain on-site inventory
  • Responsible for completing daily time sheets and maintaining daily logs
  • Use tools and operate equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures when necessary
  • Comprehend and follow blueprints and specifications to meet needs of the project.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary.
