About The Position

The Working Area Manager is responsible for overseeing daily janitorial operations across multiple store locations within the Orlando area. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring the Area Manager to both supervise field personnel and actively work alongside teams to ensure all job sites meet company and client standards. The role requires strong accountability, daily field presence, and the ability to manage operations in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Requirements

  • Must currently reside in the Orlando, FL area (REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in janitorial, cleaning, or similar field operations
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and teams simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel daily between locations
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Experience with timekeeping systems (eHub or similar)
  • Experience in high-volume, multi-site operations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage janitorial teams across multiple job sites
  • Ensure all locations meet company and client cleaning standards
  • Conduct daily store visits (minimum of 3 locations per day)
  • Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and operational performance
  • Step in and work alongside teams when staffing gaps occur
  • Train employees and Team Leads on job responsibilities and expectations
  • Support onboarding of new hires and ensure documentation accuracy
  • Motivate teams and maintain a productive work environment
  • Address performance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all employees are clocking in/out using company systems (eHub)
  • Verify attendance and work completion at each location
  • Maintain accuracy of workforce data and daily reporting
  • Perform site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
  • Communicate regularly with store management and client representatives
  • Identify issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Document site conditions and follow up on resolutions
  • Maintain proper staffing levels across assigned locations
  • Support recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts
  • Ensure all locations are stocked with required supplies and equipment
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards
