Workforce Transformation Partner Director

Eightfold,
$155,000 - $225,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Workforce Transformation Partner Director is a key role within TalentForge, responsible for realizing the business's promise to customers. This individual acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding them from initial conversations to achieving tangible outcomes. The role focuses on understanding customer needs through diagnostics rather than traditional sales pitches, engaging with CHROs and transformation leaders to reframe their workforce strategies. The core responsibility is to match customer needs with the appropriate Eightfold offering, which could include a TalentForge Lab, Platform, Studio, or Managed service, with the design and build phases occurring post-diagnosis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, management consulting, or strategic-account / transformation leadership, with a consultative, outcome-led motion.
  • Demonstrated track record carrying and delivering against a commercial number (quota, bookings, expansion, retention, or P&L ownership).
  • Proven peer-level relationships with senior client executives (CHRO, C-suite, or transformation leaders) and the executive presence to hold a strategy conversation about their business.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder engagements from first conversation to signed outcome, including originating and qualifying new opportunities.
  • Domain fluency in talent, HR, workforce strategy, or org transformation.
  • Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams to a customer outcome without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel to customers as engagements require.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Consultative enterprise sellers and consultants ready to own a book.
  • Ability to reframe a CHRO's strategy and prescribe the right motion.
  • Customers experience you as an advisor, not a rep.
  • Ability to hold the room in a strategy conversation about their business.
  • Know how to grow an account without making the customer feel sold to.
  • Credibility to lead workforce and talent strategy discussions.
  • Resistance to the gravitational pull toward bespoke, custom, hourly work.
  • Ability to bring the right experts to the customer at the right moment.

Responsibilities

  • Own a book of strategic customer accounts as their trusted transformation advisor, building peer-level relationships with CHROs, transformation leaders, and their teams.
  • Lead executive conversations to diagnose customer needs, identify friction points, and frame transformation opportunities around outcomes, not features.
  • Own the commercial health of assigned accounts, driving new and expansion revenue, with Lab conversion and net revenue retention as key performance indicators.
  • Determine the appropriate engagement motion (Lab, Platform, Studio, or Managed) for each account, ensuring a disciplined approach and prioritizing the Lab as the entry point.
  • Bring customers into the TalentForge Lab to design their future-state workforce and convert these designs into Platform, Studio, or Managed offerings.
  • Lead extended cross-functional pods (workforce-design consultants, domain experts, platform engineers) around a single account strategy without direct authority.
  • Act as the voice of the field by feeding customer patterns back into TalentForge to inform reusable design patterns and platform capabilities.
