This position is with Denver Economic Development & Opportunity (DEDO) and serves to support Denver’s businesses, employers, and workforce, creating shared prosperity and sustained economic growth. DEDO focuses on making Denver a place that is easy to do business with, fosters job creation, and builds an economy that works for everyone. The Workforce Development division provides full-service employment and training. As a Workforce Resource Room Coordinator, you will work in the Resource Room within the Denver Workforce Center, providing a great first impression of services to job seekers. You will assess job seeker needs and direct them to appropriate services, screen, direct calls, maintain referral logs, and serve customers in the reception area. This is a high volume, customer-facing role focused on encouraging and empowering job seekers to utilize self-help resources and guiding their experience. The Resource Room offers access to computers, copy/fax/phone services, job postings, resume software, and research tools.
