The Workforce Navigator role, with levels I, II, and III, is responsible for supporting clients in achieving their employment goals. This involves building collaborative relationships, educating clients on public benefits, delivering various curricula (job readiness, academic support, financial literacy, etc.), and developing individualized career pathway plans. The role requires supporting job development, building partnerships with employers and training providers, and providing case management by identifying barriers and connecting participants to resources. Additionally, it involves employer education, outreach to disengaged participants, assisting with enrollment, maintaining accurate documentation, and advocating for external services. Crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution are also key functions. All levels require attending required trainings and meeting program performance metrics. Level II includes mentoring peers, maintaining quality paperwork with accuracy, demonstrating initiative, and operating with independence. Level III involves serving as a subject matter expert, leading program coordination, and taking on advanced responsibilities.
