About The Position

This is a Full-Time permanent position starting as soon as possible. The Workforce Manager reports to the Director, 24/7 Crisis & Navigation. This role is responsible for leading workforce planning analysis, and improvement activities that help the organization operate effectively. This role will also provide insight into making informed decisions about staffing and other resources. On a typical day, the Workforce Manager may review workforce information, staffing and capacity trends, prepare reports, meet with leaders to understand the changing needs, identify opportunities to improve processes, or work with internal partners to ensure workforce information and systems are supporting operational requirements. This role will help turn workforce information into practical insights that leaders can use to plan, respond to emerging needs, and improve how resources are managed across the organization.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in workforce planning, workforce analytics, business analysis, operations, resource planning, or a related area
  • Experience working with data and using it to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis.
  • Proven interpersonal and cultural competency skills to work effectively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
  • A Police Information Check is required as a condition of employment.
  • For those in direct service user-facing roles, a Vulnerable Sector Search is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workforce planning activities by looking at current and future staffing needs, capacity, and operational requirements, and help identify gaps, trends, and priorities'.
  • Support workforce-related systems and information by helping maintain accurate, reliable data and identify opportunities to improve reporting and processes.
  • Provide workforce expertise, analysis, and recommendations to support operational planning, organizational initiatives, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the internal partners to support effective workforce planning and coordination.
  • Lead workforce planning and forecasting by assessing current workforce capacity, anticipating workforce requirements, developing forecasts, identifying gaps and emerging needs, and providing recommendations that support operational planning and resource allocation.
