The Workforce Education Outreach Coordinator serves as a key ambassador for Workforce Education programs, increasing awareness, access, and enrollment opportunities for prospective and current students. This position develops and implements outreach, recruitment, and engagement strategies that connect diverse populations with educational pathways, workforce training, financial assistance programs, and support services. The Outreach Coordinator builds and maintains strong partnerships with community organizations, workforce development agencies, employers, schools, and campus stakeholders to expand program visibility and create pathways to student success. Working collaboratively with campus and community partners, the Outreach Coordinator helps advance the college's mission of expanding educational access, economic mobility, and workforce opportunities for students and communities. This position reports to the Director of Workforce Education. ABOUT THE COLLEGE: Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students.
