The Analyst will join an established AE Strategies team supporting a Department of the Navy headquarters organization at the Washington Navy Yard. This position supports enterprise workforce development and learning programs serving stakeholders across the Department of the Navy. The successful candidate will combine strong program management, analytical, communication, and organizational skills to coordinate initiatives, facilitate stakeholder engagement, track performance, and support the effective operation and continuous improvement of enterprise workforce development programs.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Ability to work on-site five (5) days per week in Washington, DC.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in program management, management consulting, workforce development, training, business operations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing professional correspondence, briefings, reports, meeting materials, and other executive-level products.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively with government leadership, functional experts, and geographically distributed organizations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including experience maintaining trackers, reviewing data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience using digital project and workflow management tools.
  • Ability to work independently, identify emerging issues, exercise sound judgment, and follow complex initiatives through completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, or other federal agencies.
  • Experience supporting workforce development, learning management, competency management, talent management, or human capital programs.
  • Experience developing SOPs, user guides, training materials, dashboards, FAQs, or other program resources.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration and workflow tools.
  • Experience coordinating working groups, governance bodies, or enterprise stakeholder communities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating workforce development and learning initiatives involving stakeholders across Department of the Navy organizations.
  • Planning and supporting meetings, working groups, and other stakeholder forums, including preparing agendas and briefing materials, documenting decisions and action items, and coordinating follow-up.
  • Developing and maintaining program documentation, tracking tools, reports, standard operating procedures, user guides, and executive-level briefing materials.
  • Analyzing program activity and performance data, conducting quality assurance reviews, and identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting program governance and change management activities, including tracking requests, coordinating stakeholder input, and communicating program updates.
  • Providing functional support to program users and stakeholders, including researching inquiries, coordinating issue resolution, and maintaining program resources.
  • Supporting training, communications, and outreach activities, including developing instructional materials, program guidance, presentations, and recurring communications.
  • Maintaining collaborative program resources using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Performing additional program management and administrative support as needed.
