About The Position

The Diversion Hub is a comprehensive, one-stop network dedicated to assisting justice-involved individuals in Oklahoma City. The Diversion Hub Workforce Development Facilitator will aid in implementation, program instruction, and facilitation of RESTART programming for individuals that are a part of the RESTART program. The RESTART program at Diversion Hub is designed to empower individuals with long-term career stability.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of the criminal legal system.
  • Workforce development experience.
  • Education and trade development experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to interact with people of diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in a manner that demonstrates sensitivity toward cultural differences and respect for everyone.
  • Possess maturity and judgment consistent with the high level of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate capacity for teaching adults and older adults.
  • Experience working with clients experiencing acute mental health.
  • Experience working with clients living with substance use disorders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in position requirements.
  • A proven track record developing community partnerships and building effective collaborations.
  • Proven ability to meet multiple deadlines and balance numerous projects while maintaining a perspective on long-term goals.
  • Independence and self-confidence to act decisively and, at the same time, an ability to receive, integrate and translate others’ ideas and suggestions.
  • A hard working, positive, mission-driven and extroverted work style.
  • A welcome attitude to constructive criticism of their work.
  • Analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Certified TABE Administrator or willing to obtain TABE Administrator certification.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate educational and skill-building classes for participants at the Diversion Hub.
  • Develop, adapt, and maintain class curriculum and instructional materials that support participant success and align with Diversion Hub programming.
  • Create a welcoming, respectful, and recovery-oriented learning environment that promotes participant engagement and accountability.
  • Utilize effective group facilitation techniques to encourage participation, discussion, and skill development.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and participant populations.
  • Coordinate class schedules, locations, participant enrollment, and classroom logistics.
  • Maintain accurate class rosters, attendance records, and participant documentation.
  • Submit attendance verification and other required documentation to courts, referral partners, and internal staff in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track participant progress and ensure documentation complies with agency and court requirements.
  • Assist with evaluating program effectiveness and updating curriculum based on participant feedback and program needs.
  • Collaborate with Diversion Hub staff and community partners to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Assist cohort clients to earn customer conflict certification and warehouse certifications.
  • Conduct meetings as needed with team members to evaluate progress in accomplishing employment goals.
  • Networking with prospective industries to promote the benefits of hiring justice involved people and maintaining healthy relationships with current employers in the community.
  • Ensure RESTART program is following the set forth structure and processes that are developed to address target client populations within the 2-week cohorts established for cohort population.
  • Learn and implement the overall objectives set forth within the RESTART grant and program and as designated by the Manager of Workforce Development and RESTART Program Lead.
  • Maintain partnerships and develop relationships with other agencies to ensure program efficacy and success.
  • Work closely with RESTART Program Lead to support administrative duties of the program.
  • Ensure RESTART team members are helping develop clients in connecting them to appropriate workforce programs/education through the continuum of service delivery.
  • Participating in employment-related coalitions, groups, and committees.
  • Adhere to agency code of ethics and professional standards including maintaining strict client confidentiality.
  • Attending all staff development, training and meetings as required.
  • Maintaining records in Salesforce database to track participants’ services received, outcomes, demographics, and to comply with grant objectives.
  • Any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job.
