About The Position

This position will serve as the Workforce Development and Transition Resource Teacher for the Campbell-Kapolei Complex Area. The teacher will support schools (K-12) and the Complex Area as a whole in Workforce Development through college and career exposure, exploration, and experiences. This position will also support schools and the Complex Area in Workforce Development and Transition initiatives in collaboration with State and community partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum qualification for teacher, librarian, or counselor positions, with exceptions for designated CTE positions).
  • If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, must obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license within 3 years.
  • Must enroll in a Program to continue employment with the Department if hired without a completed Teacher's Education Program.
  • Must satisfactorily demonstrate active pursuit towards meeting Hawaii licensing requirements each year.
  • Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire.
