About The Position
MGC is an industry-leading civil litigation firm with 22 offices across 12 states, celebrating 31 years of excellence. We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense and a portable book of business. Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia and DC, with Maryland preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
