About The Position
Evaluate and process Michigan workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims. Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information. Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries. Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary. Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or related work experience
- 3-5 years of experience handling MI Workers' Compensation/Indemnity claims
- Active MI Adjuster's License
Nice To Haves
- Other midwest jurisdictional knowledge
- Preferably reside in the state of Michigan
