Established Chicago plaintiff firm, approaching 30 years, is hiring multiple workers' compensation attorneys. No workers' compensation experience required. The firm has built this practice by hiring lawyers with the right mindset and training them. Candidates coming from another practice area, from a public defender's or state's attorney's office, or recently admitted are all welcome. What can't be taught is work ethic, resilience, and the willingness to fight for someone who needs it. The role involves managing your own caseload with real ownership, litigating with a client-first mindset, and providing a quality client experience with consistent verbal and written updates. Attorneys will collaborate on case strategy, particularly on high-value and high-expert-cost matters, and work with state-of-the-art legal software and AI tools, with training provided. Collaboration with and development of support staff is also key. This is a high-volume plaintiff practice that moves fast and the work is demanding, but you'll have dedicated support staff assigned to your caseload and the technology to handle it.
