About The Position
The Workers Compensation Attorney will manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity. This role involves creating litigation and budget plans, conducting discovery, and traveling to court for appearances. The attorney will try cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction, composing various legal documents, and preparing cases for trial. Effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties is essential, along with strong negotiation skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the defense of workers’ compensation cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity.
- Create litigation plans.
- Create budget plans, if necessary.
- Conduct discovery.
- Travel to court and other appearances.
- Try cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction.
- Compose motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Prepare cases for trial.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to effectively represent clients.
- Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills.
