The Workers’ Compensation Coordinator primarily supports patients via the telephone in accordance with the practice’s Workers' Compensation programs and processes. This role involves scheduling appointments related to Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring patients are well-prepared and informed about their appointments. The coordinator will utilize their understanding of medical terminology and needs during the screening process, collect essential information for data entry, treatment, and billing, and facilitate communication between various stakeholders including physicians' teams, nurse case managers, adjusters, and third-party management companies. A key aspect of this role is to work directly with adjusters, nurse case managers, and lawyers to expedite patient care and to identify and resolve customer service issues.
