About The Position

The Workers Comp Coordinator works within a department to ensure WC patients are approved and scheduled for visits and procedures. This Coordinator also serves as the main communication between employers, insurance companies, and adjusters.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer Skills, Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of EPIC is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepares documents for data entry including billing/charge information
  • Reviews schedules to prepare for WC patients scheduled
  • Communicates between ancillary services and adjusters to ensure all necessary approvals are obtained
  • Updates patient charts and process documentation of WC patient visits
  • Prints daily reports as needed
  • Assists with patient inquires and account follow- up as necessary
  • Investigates potential issues with works for provide solutions
  • Answers correspondence requests regarding pending approvals
  • Processes and distributes correspondence
  • Participates in account analysis
