Performs a variety of duties including all or some of the following: cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, utensils and equipment. Cooks, bakes, prepares hot and cold foods for patients, cafeteria and/or special functions. Performs a variety of duties related to the assembly and service of food to patients and/or customers of all ages. Provides cashier services in the cafeteria. Services and stocks all vending machines. Responsible for dry goods, paper goods, and refrigerated/frozen storage inventory. Monitors computer system for diet orders and requests for each patient as inputted by nursing associates and verifies the diet order with menus.
