About The Position

Cognizant is seeking a dynamic Solutions Architect to join our Workday consulting team. You’ll leverage your deep Workday implementation expertise to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs and transition seamlessly to delivery. This role involves providing end-to-end solution and design details during the sales process, supporting the Business Development Lifecycle as a product SME, and assisting the lead Sales representative to qualify business development opportunities. You will also support initial Cognizant client proposals and the transition of the client via the approved/formal Sales to Delivery process. Additionally, you will mentor and guide junior resources, promote knowledge sharing across practices, provide input on project staffing, and work with Directors and Vice Presidents of Delivery to establish professional development opportunities. This role also involves supporting marketing activities by speaking and presenting Collaborative Solutions at trade conferences, developing tools to assist Sales with estimating, supporting Pre-sales meetings and Orals in person, and accurately estimating effort and resources required for projects within your areas of expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of actual implementation experience
  • Strong Workday implementation experience preferred.
  • Strong end to end implementation experience with HR, Financial, or Student Information Systems required

Responsibilities

  • Provide end to end solution and design details during the sales process.
