About The Position
RGP is looking for a Workday US Payroll Product Manager who has processed payroll in the past to own and optimize a payroll ecosystem for ~10,000+ U.S. employees. You’ll drive the product strategy, lead system enhancements, ensure compliance, and partner with HR, Payroll Operations, Finance, and IT to deliver accurate, efficient payroll processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years Workday Payroll experience with product ownership or leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and operations.
- Experience with Time & Attendance, Absence Management, and Benefits integration.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary product owner for Workday US Payroll, from requirements to deployment.
- Maintain the payroll roadmap aligned with HR and Finance goals.
- Monitor Workday releases and implement relevant new features.
- Partner with Payroll Operations, Time & Attendance, and Absence Management to ensure data accuracy.
- Oversee integrations with Workday HCM, Benefits, Darwin Mercer, tax providers, and financial systems.
- Lead testing and deployment of payroll configuration changes.
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax laws, SOX, and data privacy requirements.
