About The Position

We're looking for an HRIS Manager to lead our Workday team and help shape how our organization uses technology to support our people. You'll be the go-to expert on all things Workday — guiding a team of talented analysts, keeping our enterprise system running smoothly, and driving the rollout of new features that make HR processes better for everyone. If you love solving complex problems, mentoring others, and building systems that scale, we'd love to talk to you. This role is a remote opportunity anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of HRIS experience, with 4+ years working specifically in Workday
  • At least 1 year of management or team lead experience in an HRIS environment
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering results
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects without missing a beat
  • Experience with full-cycle Workday implementations
  • A deep understanding of how Workday modules connect and interact with one another
  • Comfort writing complex reports, including building calculated fields
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A high degree of personal integrity, maturity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of HRIS analysts, helping them grow their skills and careers
  • Support your team through complex challenges, offering guidance, stretch assignments, and development opportunities
  • Coordinate work across the team to keep projects moving and priorities clear
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday, bringing deep technical knowledge to solve complex problems
  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues, getting to the root cause and implementing fixes that prevent recurrence
  • Project manage Workday configuration, implementation, and process improvements from start to finish
  • Own the planning and release strategy for Workday's semi-annual releases, along with new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify business needs, gather and translate requirements into scalable system solutions, and collaborate with Workday analysts throughout development, testing and implementation.
  • Lead and contribute to post-implementation reviews, capturing lessons learned to keep improving
  • Uphold strict security protocols around user data, and help your team do the same
  • Regularly assess systems and processes, recommending improvements where you see opportunities
  • Participate in quarterly system access audits
  • Manage business process and workflow setup, configuration oversight, security, testing, and development based on evolving business needs
  • Play a key role in major projects that touch Workday — including mergers, acquisitions, and other organizational changes

Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with an employer match
  • Health, dental, vision and life insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 11 firm holidays
  • Annual year-end bonus eligible
