Workday Integration Engineer
About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring a remote Workday Integration Engineer. The role advances the ERP platform by designing, building, and maintaining integrations and custom applications connecting Workday and Ariba with internal and external systems. It emphasizes integration practices using Workday Studio, Connectors, EIBs, Web Services, and Orchestrate, as well as custom application development in Workday Extend. The position will also contribute to the early-stage transition to SAP Ariba's Business Technology Platform (BTP), supporting expanded integration capacity and adoption of capabilities such as Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors. The role operates in a mature ERP environment while contributing to platform evolution. W2 candidates only.
Requirements
- Expertise in web service/API technologies: WSDL, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and XSLT.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Groovy.
- Experience with integration design and development for cloud-based platforms.
- 3–5 years of Workday integration development experience and/or 3–5 years of Ariba integration development experience.
- Experience building Workday integrations using Studio, Cloud Connector, EIBs, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Orchestration for Integrations.
- Experience utilizing Ariba REST APIs, ITK, and Configuration Management.
- Hands-on experience with master and transactional data integrations.
- Strong background in monitoring, alerting, and error handling for integrations.
- Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain integrations between Workday/Ariba and external systems.
- Develop and maintain custom Workday Extend applications.
- Support integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP Ariba.
- Build and optimize Ariba master and transactional data integrations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and monitor integrations.
- Contribute to SAP Ariba BTP transition initiatives.
- Apply software engineering principles to integration lifecycle management.
- Provide on-call support and troubleshooting for integration environments.
