About The Position

Capgemini is seeking a Workday Integrations Consultant to design, develop, test, deploy, and support point-to-point integrations within the Workday platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT). In this role, you will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable integration solutions while supporting implementation, enhancement, and post-production activities. Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes. Focus must be provided on building solutions and on maintaining, optimizing and improving a clients applications and systems. Develop your knowledge in a business andoror industry domain and a Saas or Package Based solution. One can contribute to a business and technical blueprint and customize the respective Software Package Module. Application Consultant is responsible for unit testing, contribute to integration testing, andoror be responsible for the design and delivery of end user training. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience implementing and supporting Workday integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday EIB inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Strong experience with Workday Core Connectors and Workday Studio.
  • Experience with Workday BIRT reporting.
  • Understanding of Workday integration architecture, web services, and file-based integrations.
  • Experience creating interface specifications, field mappings, technical documentation, and test plans.
  • Experience participating in integration design workshops and client-facing discussions.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to evaluate technical options and communicate recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong communication, organization, time management, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to work independently and demonstrate urgency.
  • Ability to manage change while considering the impact on technology, business processes, and connected systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Workday integrations.
  • Develop Workday EIB inbound and outbound integrations, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio integrations.
  • Participate in implementation projects and provide guidance to junior consultants.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, validate, and document integration requirements.
  • Facilitate integration design and requirements workshops.
  • Evaluate and communicate the technical impact of Workday configuration and integration decisions.
  • Create detailed interface specifications, field mappings, process flows, and integration designs.
  • Perform integration unit testing, end-to-end testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Support knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing, maintaining, and operating integrations to and from the Workday SaaS platform.
  • Track integration issues, risks, and dependencies, and communicate status to project leadership.
  • Maintain documentation for requirements, system configurations, integration designs, test plans, and deployment activities.
  • Stay current on Workday releases and recommend enhancements that improve system performance and efficiency.
  • Support project planning and execution to help ensure successful delivery of Workday solutions.
