About The Position

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Workday HCM Sr. Security Administrator for a post-implementation security review. The role involves confirming security controls for access across all HCM modules, reporting, and integrations, along with technical oversight, monitoring, and support. A key aspect is establishing a governance structure with routine security audits, access control reviews, and compliance checks. The administrator will lead discussions with clients and vendors to ensure the governance structure and post-implementation security configuration are aligned, identifying and removing unnecessary complexities.

Requirements

  • Senior level expertise with proven record of success in Workday Security to include HCM modules (Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Attendance and etc...) reporting and integration security.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining role-based security models within Workday, along with expertise in domain, business process and reporting security.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as contributor at the Manager level, managing complete priorities and accountability without people management responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex security access and approval scenarios/ issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing security projects for workday implementation, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Collaboration, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability working in a collaborative and transparent environment.
  • Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Technically and functionally oriented (good problem solving and troubleshooting skills).
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential for effectively working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • 6 years of experience Security Administration Workday HCM.
  • 6 years of proven expertise in user authentication, user authorization and data security.
  • 6 years of proven expertise in system auditing for Workday HRMS solution.
  • 6 years proven experience creating and updating custom reports utilizing the latest Workday HCM reporting tools.
  • Active Workday Pro Security Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead Workday Security subject-matter expert.
  • Initiate and lead discussions with stakeholders, HR partners, Risk, Compliance, and Technology and vendor support teams to understand access needs and deliver secure compliant security solutions.
  • Provide expert analysis for security configuration, identifying gaps, risks, inefficiencies, unintended access and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Support Workday reporting and integration security, ensuring appropriate data access, secure data transmission, and compliance with internal control frameworks.
  • Develop reports utilizing Workday Report Designer Tools.
  • Work with implementation partner and Client internal resources on Authentication and SSO.
  • Provide as needed support for troubleshooting and remediation of security and technical issues.
  • Assist with development and reporting efforts in Workday’s HCM system.
  • Create requested documentation supporting system design, development, and testing.
  • Perform maintenance and development work in a manner that is consistent with company standards and procedures.
  • Develop documentation in line with approach for on-going review and maintenance for security designs, SOX controls, audit evidence, standards and decision rationale.
  • Proactively monitor upcoming Workday releases and evaluate new security functionality to identify opportunities to strength controls, improve audit outcomes and increase efficiency.
  • Manage records created and received in compliance with the Records Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
