About The Position

We are seeking a senior Workday Financials Developer with 10+ years of experience, specifically locals to VA, MD, DC, NY, NJ states. This role requires extensive experience in Workday Financial Management integrations, Workday integration development (EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio), creating custom reports and calculated fields, and integrating systems with third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday security, experience with document transformation (XSLT, XPATH), and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include analyzing Workday release updates, resolving functional issues, implementing complex business rules, and performing analysis, design, configuration, and implementation within the financial space. Exposure to various Workday Financial Functional Areas and business processes is essential, along with an understanding of year-end finance processes.

Requirements

10+ years of experience (locals to VA, MD, DC, NY, NJ states preferred).
5+ years of experience with Workday Financial Management integrations.
5+ years of experience with Workday integration development including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
5+ years of experience creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
5+ years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
Strong understanding of Workday security.
Experience with document transformation, XSLT, XPATH etc.
Experience working with or leading Agile teams.
Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Understand Workdays Implementation Methodology and use the methodology on implementation of projects.
Has an understanding of the year end processes in Finance.
Experience in config.
Must have exposure to business process in Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, FDM and Record to Report area.

Nice To Haves

BIRT experience is preferred.
Accounting Center and Prism Analytics experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Workday Financial Management integrations.
Develop Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio.
Create Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
Integrate systems with third-party service vendors.
Analyze Workday release updates and understand the impact of feature changes on existing client configurations.
Resolve functional issues and implement complex business rules.
Perform analysis, conceptual design, configuration, and implementation of designs in the financial space.
Configure and develop professional expertise, applying company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
Work on problems of moderate scope requiring analysis of various factors.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Build productive internal/external working relationships.
