Address: Texas The Workday Financials Integration Specialist serves as a technical expert responsible for the design, development, and deployment of complex integrations between Workday Financials and various third-party systems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires a high degree of independence and the ability to apply the correct level of urgency to technical solutions, ensuring that critical financial data flows seamlessly across the enterprise. Acting as a bridge between functional accounting requirements and technical execution, the Specialist provides exemplary customer service in alignment with EZCorp’s vision of operational excellence and digital transformation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on experience developing Workday integrations, specifically focusing on Financials (FDM, Accounts Payable, General Ledger).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university in a technology related field such as computer science or information systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Integration Architecture & Development: Lead the end-to-end technical lifecycle of integrations including Studio, EIB, and Cloud Connectors.
  • System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine existing integration processes to improve performance and data accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance, IT, and external vendors to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all financial data transmissions adhere to strict security protocols and audit requirements.
  • Release Management: Manage the impact of bi-annual Workday updates on the integration landscape, ensuring zero downtime for critical financial feeds.
  • Design and build sophisticated integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB), and Core Connectors.
  • Develop and maintain complex XSLT transformations and Calculated Fields to meet specific vendor file requirements.
  • Monitor daily integration events, proactively troubleshooting and resolving failures to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to automate manual data entries, such as journal vouchers, bank statements, and supplier invoices.
  • Conduct rigorous unit testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new or modified integrations.
  • Document technical specifications, data mapping, and maintenance procedures for the integration portfolio.
  • Manage API-based connections using Workday Web Services (WWS) and REST/SOAP protocols.
  • Audit integration security permissions to ensure the principle of least privilege is maintained for sensitive financial data.
