Workday Extend Consultant
About The Position
Client is seeking an experienced Workday Extend Consultant with expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation and Workday Extend to join a high-performing HR Information Technology (HRIT) team. This role will play a key part in delivering innovative compensation solutions supporting critical U.S. and global compensation programs. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Workday technical expert who can leverage Advanced Compensation capabilities, Workday Extend, integrations, and reporting technologies to solve complex business challenges. This position offers the opportunity to lead large-scale initiatives while working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering partners in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Workday Advanced Compensation development experience.
- Workday development and integration experience.
- Experience with: Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, Advanced Reporting, Report Writer
- Experience designing and implementing technical solutions within Workday.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Workday Compensation solutions and enhancements.
- Build custom applications and technical solutions using Workday Extend.
- Develop and maintain Workday integrations utilizing Studio, EIBs, and Core Connectors.
- Create and manage Advanced Reports, Report Writer reports, and BIRT reports.
- Lead technical design discussions and provide solutions for complex business requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile delivery activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Compensation processes.
- Collaborate with HR, Compensation, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.
- Support annual compensation planning and year-end compensation cycles.
