About The Position

The Workday Administrator supports and enhances enterprise Workday environments with a focus on HR and Finance modules. This role provides cross‑functional platform, functional, and user support, helping establish stronger governance, security practices, and business process controls. The position partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, and leadership to implement policies, support system enhancements, and ensure secure, compliant, and reliable Workday operations.

Requirements

  • Active Workday Certification relevant to HCM, Financials, or both
  • 5 or more years of hands‑on experience administering Workday environments
  • Strong experience supporting Workday HCM and Financial Management modules
  • Experience working with Workday Adaptive Planning and Accounting Center
  • Experience configuring business processes, rules, and policies in Workday
  • Ability to provide functional, platform, and end‑user support
  • Experience writing light to moderate functional requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • High attention to data accuracy, security, and compliance
  • Ability to work independently as an in‑house subject matter resource
  • Clear, professional communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on governance and operational stability

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Workday across HCM and Financial Management modules
  • Configure business process frameworks, rules, approvals, and policies
  • Support enhancements and configuration within Workday Adaptive Planning and Accounting Center
  • Maintain system integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with internal policies
  • Serve as a liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into functional system solutions
  • Partner with leadership to identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
  • Provide broad functional and platform expertise across Workday domains
  • Provide tiered user and platform support, troubleshooting system issues and improving usability
  • Support access management, security roles, and audit‑related activities
  • Assist with implementation and enforcement of new governance policies and controls
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and access standards
  • Gather and document basic functional and configuration requirements
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment of new features and updates
  • Maintain clear documentation of Workday configurations, processes, and changes
  • Participate in release readiness and post‑deployment support
