Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 2+ years’ experience of hands-on Workday administration experience, required.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting Workday business processes, security, reporting, and system functionality, required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with Workday HCM and related modules, preferred.
  • Experience with enterprise reporting, data analysis, system integrations, and business process improvement, preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary administrator and technical subject matter expert for Workday.
  • Configures and maintains Workday business processes, workflows, notifications, security roles, permissions, and system settings.
  • Supports Workday modules including Human Capital Management (HCM), Talent, Learning, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and other modules as assigned.
  • Partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and other departments to understand business requirements and translate those needs into effective Workday solutions.
  • Troubleshoots Workday issues and coordinates with Workday support, consultants, vendors, and internal resources as needed to resolve problems.
  • Coordinates Workday releases, including reviewing new functionality, evaluating company impact, testing changes, and implementing approved enhancements.
  • Monitors system performance and recommends enhancements that improve efficiency, reliability, and the user experience.
  • Develops and maintains Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics.
  • Supports business leaders with reporting and data analysis needs.
  • Maintains data integrity through regular audits, validation processes, and corrective actions.
  • Supports data imports, exports, integrations, and interfaces between Workday and other business applications.
  • Assists with compliance reporting, internal audits, and external audits involving Workday data.
  • Ensures accuracy and consistency of data across Workday and integrated systems.
  • Evaluates existing business processes and identifies opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve workflows through Workday.
  • Leads or participates in Workday enhancement and optimization projects from requirements gathering through implementation.
  • Develops test plans and coordinates system testing and user acceptance testing for system changes.
  • Assists with implementations of new Workday functionality, modules, integrations, and related technology solutions.
  • Researches Workday capabilities, best practices, and emerging functionality and recommends appropriate improvements.
  • Maintains system documentation, configuration documentation, procedures, testing records, and knowledge resources.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for Workday questions, issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to Workday users.
  • Develops user documentation, job aids, and training materials as needed.
  • Communicates technical concepts and system changes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Builds strong working relationships with Human Resources, Finance, Operations, IT, and other departments throughout Pediatrics Plus.
  • Manages Workday security roles and access in accordance with company policies and established security practices.
  • Protects the confidentiality and security of team member, patient-related, financial, and company information.
  • Follows established change management, documentation, testing, and security protocols.
  • Supports internal and external audits related to Workday, business systems, security, and data management.
  • Ensures assigned systems and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and Pediatrics Plus policies.
  • Participates in one-on-one meetings with leader.
  • May perform other related and non-related duties, as assigned.
