About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Workday Administrator (Contractor) to support the ongoing configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our Workday platform. This role is responsible for ensuring system stability, supporting functional areas, managing integrations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience.
  • Strong experience with Workday configuration and business process frameworks.
  • Experience supporting at least one core Workday module (HCM, Finance, Payroll, etc.).
  • Knowledge of reporting tools (Workday Reports, Calculated Fields, Dashboards).
  • Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Must be authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday certification(s) (e.g., HCM, Integration, Financials).
  • Experience in multi-tenant environments or large enterprise organizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile or project-based work environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Workday system, including business process frameworks, security roles, and tenant configuration.
  • Configure and support Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and/or Financials.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
  • Support Workday releases (bi-annual updates), including impact analysis, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage and maintain integrations using tools such as EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with governance and audit standards.
  • Provide user support and training as needed, including documentation of processes and configurations.
  • Participate in testing cycles (unit, UAT) and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Maintain security configuration, including roles, domains, and permissions.
