About The Position

Blue Water provides free site accommodation, free usage of utilities and amenities (per work camp agreement), and wages for all hours worked. Pay and Benefits: Hourly wage rates vary depending on role, state, skills, and experience. Workamping—Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits but are eligible for sick time and holiday pay. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for Workcampers with hospitality experience who own an RV/Camper. Someone who can work independently or as part of a team on demand has strong attention to detail and is interested in providing exceptional guest services. Workcampers are required to work 40 hours a week depending on campground needs WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Workampers will work in multiple roles during the season 1. Housekeeping 2. Grounds/Maintenance 3. Front Desk/Guest Service 4. Camphost/Security 5. Recreation/Activities WHAT YOU BRING Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to remain calm and friendly when confronted with upset visitors or problems The ability to be on your feet, ride a bike and/or drive a golf cart and move around freely with guests Ability to work positively with other campground employees and other staff members Support all company policies and procedures. Note: Couples applying to the Workamping program must apply as individuals. If applying as a couple, you understand that we do not make scheduling exceptions- all shifts are scheduled to business needs and your days off and shift times may vary from your partner. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift and move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
