The Work Week Manager (WWM) ensures scheduled work activities are planned, coordinated, and executed in a safe and efficient manner. Work Week Managers are also responsible for monitoring and reporting schedule performance during the execution week (work week), and reviewing it for continuous improvement opportunities (Work Week Assessment). The Work Week Assessment is a feedback mechanism for Integrated Safety Management. The WWM coordinates and oversees work preparation activities, to ensure that scheduled activities are task ready for the planned lock-in period. WWM's utilize a rolling schedule concept to forecast activities several weeks ahead of time. The WWM follows-up on all preparation activities to ensure the scope is adequately defined and work documents prepared to support the lock-in week. Task readiness includes, but is not limited to, Work Requests, Work Tasks, parts/material, hazard screening/analysis, prerequisites, and support groups. Once the workweek is locked-in, the assigned WWM oversees the work execution, resolves issues/obstacles impeding work progress, and prepares a Work Week Assessment at the conclusion of the execution week/period.
