Responsibilities

  • Act as representatives of Mayo Clinic, working cooperatively with staff, external clients, students, and advisors.
  • Report to and receive direction from assigned department supervisor.
  • Assist laboratory personnel in aliquoting, preparing, and centrifuging biological specimens.
  • Perform various clerical tasks.
  • Undertake other laboratory duties, including maintaining supply inventory, filing, stocking, cleaning, or special projects.
  • Indicate changes in financial aid award to the assigned supervisor and work study liaison.
  • Collaborate with the assigned department supervisor to arrange work schedules in compliance with financial aid award amounts and minimum weekly hours (10 hours).
