The Work-Study Senior Student Associate will provide marketing and social media support to the Texas Materials Institute (TMI) and the Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) graduate program. This position offers hands-on experience in university operations and event coordination within an academic environment. The Sr. Student Associate will support the Institute's social media, video content, marketing, website, and newsletter activities. This position is ideal for a student who is creative, detail-oriented, comfortable with digital media, and interested in communications, marketing, video production, and content development. The student will assist with capturing photo and video content in labs, classrooms, events, and other department activities; editing and organizing media content; updating social media platforms and website content; and supporting newsletters and marketing initiatives. The student may also assist with promoting Institute's news, events, research highlights, and outreach efforts. Students must be eligible for work-study for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semester.
