About The Position

The Office of Undergraduate Students is seeking two or three current undergraduate students for the Federal Work Study job of Office Assistant for the academic year of 2026/27. This position requires you to have received a work-study award. To verify if you have received a work-study award, please consult the Financial Aid Award Summary area in your LionPATH account. Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors
  • Provide general administrative support and assist staff as needed for the Office of Undergraduate Students and the offices associated with it
  • Assist with events – meeting caterers, setting up and cleaning up event
  • Assist with filing, restocking supplies, setting up meeting spaces, and tidying shared areas
  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming packages
  • Monitor shared spaces to keep them student-friendly and welcoming, ensure student supply closet and collaboration rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use
  • Monitor the student supply closet: taking inventory, checking students out, and informing staff of low products
  • Other duties as assigned

  • The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.
