JOB TITLE: Office Aide-CEPS Career Services DEPARTMENT INFORMATION: CEPS Career Services Office supports the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences students by providing career readiness and development resources, experiential learning opportunities, employer connections, and professional preparation services that empower students to successfully transition from college to career. Job location: Engineering Building 2079 Pay rate or range: $11.00 per hour JOB PURPOSE: Support the CEPS Career Services Office by assisting with daily office operations, student engagement initiatives, data management, event preparation, and career development programming that enhances student success and career readiness.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience is required.
  • Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.

Responsibilities

  • Scan, organize, upload, and maintain electronic documents and records in office databases and filing systems.
  • File, organize, and retrieve office documents as needed.
  • Assist the Office Associate with front desk operations by greeting students, employers, faculty, staff, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Provide general administrative support for Career Services Office programs, events, and daily operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
