Work Planner
About The Position
Davey Utility Line Clearance, a division of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is pleased to offer a key opportunity in the field of Utility Line Clearance as a Work Planner. This role participates in the management of utility tree care operations through designing routing and dispatch procedures to optimize crew workflow, verifying the priority of work requests for tree pruning and removal, and managing property owner and municipality expectations and access requests. The Work Planner will also perform audits and present findings to general forepersons to influence production efficiency and work with crew leaders to ensure daily objectives align with long-term goals. Additional supervisory, management, or auditing tasks may be assigned by the area supervisor.
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Commercial Driver’s License-Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- 2-3 years of work experience in tree care, urban forestry, utility vegetation management or related field
- Degree in related field may substitute for 2 years of experience
- ISA Certified Arborist®
- ISA Certified Tree Worker®
- TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional®
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
